Welcome to AIESEC Newcastle, your local branch of the world's largest student organization in the North East England!
Present in over 110 countries and territories and with over 60,000 members, AIESEC is the world's largest student-run organisation. Focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development, AIESEC offers young people the opportunity to be global citizens, to change the world, and to get experience and skills that matter today.
At AIESEC Newcastle, one of our core activities are focused on facilitating a global exchange scheme that provides challenging, cultural work internships for students and recent graduates in a foreign country. We also invest our resources into developing our student's soft skills through local leadership sessions as well as sending students to AIESEC international, national and regional conferences and training sessions. Being the local committee in the Northeast, we also focuses on connecting businesses in the area, and providing opportunities for students in various universities such as Northumbria University and Sunderland University.

HISTORY
AIESEC was officially founded in 1948. At the time, the mission was to expand the understanding of a nation by expanding the understanding of the individuals, changing the world one person at a time.
